SOMA 2026 Hotel Information

Important information regarding the official 2026 SOMSA Hotel

The Special Operations Medical Association can conduct high-quality meetings at desirable ‎locations for a reasonable fee because of a block of hotel rooms contracted for meeting ‎attendees. In exchange for filling the required number of sleeping rooms, SOMA can use the ‎hotel and convention center meeting space at no or reduced costs, thus keeping registration ‎fees low. In addition, meeting attendees receive a reduced rate for their sleeping rooms. ‎Please make your reservations using the links below to book directly with the hotels. ‎Reservations made outside of the SOMSA room blocks are not counted towards our room’s ‎pickup.‎
Rooms may sell out prior to the cutoff date, so please make your reservations early. The ‎negotiated SOMSA rates will not be available after the cut-off date ‎listed below.

SOMA does not now nor has ever sold registration information or data on attendees. If you receive any emails that suggest that attendee data has been compiled and can be purchased, this is a fraudulent, phishing email. Please do not click on any link in these emails and delete from your inbox.

Please Be Wary: SOMA Spam Emails

It has come to the attention of the SOMA team that some attendees have been receiving emails from solicitors offering to sell attendee information for various fees. These are not official communications and should be disregarded as spam. SOMA will never contact you about purchasing attendee information. While we are making efforts to prevent solicitors from contacting attendees of the 2026 Training, Education, & Scientific Assembly, it is possible that you may still receive these messages. We encourage you to move these items to your Spam or Junk folder and block their senders. We apologize for the confusion these solicitations may cause. Nevertheless, we look forward to seeing you this May in Raleigh!

Registration is now Open!

The SOMA Program Committee has put together a top notch training schedule that includes over 55 lab offerings and over 160 track presentations focusing on building the fundamentals of training globally, medical personnel will need to be prepared to stage and execute interagency planning.  A full schedule will be posted to this site in the near future.

Tracks are concurrent sessions broken down the following categories:  Military Special Operations Forces, Austere Resuscitative Surgical Care, Brain Health, Medical Support of Irregular Warfare, Tactical Emergency Medical Services, Research, Human Performance and Resiliency, and International. Registration for one day or the full conference gets you access to all track presentations and social events. Labs require an additional fee as there is limited capacity in each lab to ensure an appropriate student to faculty ratio for the subject matter.

Labs are in-depth, hands-on education and training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of SOF medics and those working in austere environments.

The SOMA office will be closed for the holidays:

Monday, December 23, 2024 – Wednesday, January 1, 2025

Please email us at [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
