2020 SOMA Scientific Assembly Cancelled

After careful consideration, the SOMA Board of Directors has made the decision to cancel the 2020 SOMA Scientific Assembly, May 11 – 15 in Raleigh, North Carolina due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Everyone already registered received an email on March 23 with information and instructions regarding refunds and hotel reservation cancellations.

Please note:

• Due to the number of refunds we are processing , we ask that members allow 4-6 weeks for refund to be realized (from the date of the cancelation notice posted on March 23).
• Non-members must submit for refund according to the information outlined in the March 23 email they received by May 15.  If we do not hear from a non-member registrant by May 15, the refund will be processed, less the trial membership fee for the member type at which registration was processed.
• We continue to explore options for offering some of our planned content in a virtual format, so stay tuned!

We hope to see you at our next Scientific Assembly, May 24-28, 2021 as we return to the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
