Registration


Before you register:

Members and Prior Assembly Participants
Log in to your member profile and check the following:
  • Members should ensure they have renewed for 2021.  Those renewed will show a paid-through date of 12/31/2021 in the upper left corner of your record.
Click the "I-don't-know-my-username" link if you have forgotten your login or contact us. Do not create a new record.
  • If your membership is not current (i.e. paid thru 12/31/2021), you will need to reinstate your membership first to receive the discounted member rate. Select the appropriate reinstatement category at the bottom of this page to reinstate your membership: http://www.specialoperationsmedicine.org/Pages/Renew-Today.aspx
Non-Members:
  • Non-members and those who do not have a previously established ID/relationship with SOMA must "Create a New Account" to proceed with registration.

Confirmation

ONLINE REGISTRATION - Receipts are emailed to the address provided upon completion of the online transaction.  Please confirm the spelling of your name, address and verify rank to ensure they are correct.

If there is an error, please contact us immediately, to ensure your name badge is correct.

PAYMENT BY CHECK - If you need to pay by check, please contact us for a hard-copy registration form to submit with your payment.  Once processed, you may generate a receipt for your registration by logging into your SOMA account and selecting "History" in order to print a receipt for your files / reimbursement.

Check payments requiring a hard-copy registration form must arrive at the address below PRIOR to June 21. Check payments should be sent to:

        CHANGES TO YOUR REGISTRATION
        If you need to make a change after completing your registration, please email the change to the SOMA Executive Office at             SOMA@kellencompany.com.  We'll contact you to confirm when the changes have been completed and provide information         about refunds or additional funds due.

Cancellation Policy

  • Written notice of cancellations received on or before June 7 will be fully refunded. 
  • Cancellations received after June 7 will be refunded less a processing fee of $50.
  • Substitution of registration is allowed.  
  • Refunds are generally processed at months end but may be processed after the Scientific Assembly.


Scientific Assembly Registration Fees

  • Virtual registration and in-person registrations are available.
  • Update! On-site/walk-in registrations will be available.
  • Registration includes all General and Breakout sessions Tuesday, June 29 - Friday, July 2, 2021. 
  • For in-person participants, optional training labs are also available Tuesday through Thursday afternoons for an additional fee.

LAB Fees

Labs are priced separately and are not included in the fees for the Scientific Assembly.  Labs are $50 for Medics. For all others they are $100 for 2 hour labs, $200 for 4 hour labs and $400 for 8 hour labs.  

Labs will be held all day Monday. Repeat Lab sessions will also be available throughout the week during the same times as the Assembly Breakout sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and all day Thursday. Please be sure you closely read the lab descriptions prior to registering.

Registration must be "Submitted" and paid for online in order to be complete.  If you start the registration process and do not click "submit" and enter payment information, your registration is not complete, and any seats in Labs you have selected are not reserved. If you need to pay by check, please contact us.

In-Person Assembly Registration IncludeS:

  • General and Breakout educational sessions and access to materials 
  • CME and CAPCE continuing education credits (up to a maximum of 39 hours available).  Lifetime Physician members must register for CME separately.
  • Daily Continental Breakfast
  • Refreshment Breaks
  •  Access to the Exhibit Hall
  • Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall (Tuesday)
  •  Access to on-demand content after the event. CME credits only, not CAPCE.
VIRTUAL Assembly Registration IncludeS:
  • General and Breakout educational sessions and access to materials 
  • CME and CAPCE continuing education credits (up to a maximum of 39 hours available).  Lifetime Physician members must register for CME separately.
  •  Access to on-demand content after the event. CME credits only, not CAPCE.

Single- or MULTIPLE single-Day Registration Include:

  • General and Breakout educational sessions and access to materials for the day(s) of paid registration
  • CME and CAPCE continuing education credits
  • Continental Breakfast
  • Refreshment Breaks
  • Evening social events on days attending
